Institute for Environment and Development Sustainability is a specialized Environment and Climate Institute based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, aiming at providing professional training in the fields of environment and climate for sustainable development. IEDS is the only training institute in Tanzania accredited to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Secretariat with global recognition in the environment and climate change training. It offers various long and short-term courses including Certificate and Diploma courses in Environment and Climate Science and Management of Natural Resources and tailor-made courses related to Climate Change and Development Sustainability.
