As you are located in different parts of the world this tool will allow you to inform your colleagues about your progress, your fieldwork – or just about how you are. Meanwhile CNRD has more than 45 current or former scholarship holders, a big group that hopefully is the nucleus for a strong alumni network – and also part of your future network!

For us, your coordinators in Cologne it would be very interesting, too, to get an insight into your ongoing research, your efforts, thoughts and challenges. Looking forward to read from you, yours, Udo and Simone!

CNRD allows a lot of mobility, students are going abroad for taking lecturers or doing field research, and lecturers travel to give classes at a partner university, and so on. For all of them it would be very beneficial to have a platform that provides information about the country and university of destination. This blog provides such base for exchanging information, posting some interesting news, weblinks, and so on. The more people contribute, the better the information. Therefore we are looking forward to receive lots of postings, from all the people travelling abroad – who can this way facilitate the journey of other CNRD people!

Yours, Simone
